The Woman Behind the Rack
Her Story
Where it began
Roanoke Roots
Krissa is a 28-year-old mom of two from Roanoke with a passion for thrifting and finding great deals. She was a cheerleader at Glenvar High School and now works at Famous Anthony's. Her love for the hunt, style, and smart shopping is what inspired Krissa's Kloset.
“Every rack is a mystery to solve. You never know what treasure is buried between the pilled sweaters and the ill-fitting Dad jeans.”
The kloset overflows
Too Much of a Good Thing
By her mid-twenties Krissa had accumulated enough vintage pieces to outfit a small theater company. Friends started borrowing. Strangers started asking where she found her looks. It became obvious: the joy wasn't just in the finding — it was in seeing someone else light up when they slipped into a perfectly-cut jacket that cost $8 and felt like it was made for them.
The kloset goes online
Krissa's Kloset is Born
This shop is her way of sharing that magic more widely. Every single piece is hand-sourced, inspected, and styled by Krissa before it ever makes it online. If it wouldn't make her pause on a rack, it doesn't make the cut. Think of this as browsing her personal kloset — with the option to actually take something home.
For the little ones too
The Kids' Corner
Kids grow at the speed of light. Spending full price on clothes that fit for six months never made sense to Krissa. The Kids' Corner was a natural evolution — gently used, carefully selected pieces for babies through tweens, at prices that actually make sense.
What I believe in
Values
Sustainability
Fast fashion is one of the world's biggest polluters. Every thrifted purchase keeps a garment out of the landfill.
Affordability
Looking good shouldn't cost a week's groceries. Quality thrift finds prove you can have both.
Curation
Not all thrift is treasure. Krissa puts in the work so you don't have to dig through the duds.
